The Story Behind Earth & Sea Salts Herbs de Provence
This one is unlike our other salt blends (which are wet blends) because it is a dry blend, made with organic dried herbs instead of fresh herbs and raw garlic. Also, it does not contain any lemon or lime juice. It is available in a smaller size with a shaker top, making it very easy to use at the table. So for everyone who has asked “do you have one without garlic, without citrus, in a smaller size, with lavender?” this should work for you. Herbs de Provence is named from the Provence region in France and typically contains: savory, basil, thyme, fennel and lavender flowers. Earth & Sea Salts’ version of this contains: summer savory, lemon thyme, fennel, lavender and Light Grey Celtic Sea Salt®. It is ideal for egg dishes, vegetables, chicken and seafood. My favorite uses of this salt seasoning include: scrambled eggs, on tilapia and in alfredo sauce.
