This culinary salt blend was created at the same time as the Greek Blend, but they are very different from each other. Instead of black pepper and lemon juice, the Southwest Blend contains ground cumin and lime juice. Oregano is present but is combined with cilantro instead of spearmint. You have to like cumin to like this blend. Mexican food is another passion of mine, and the Southwest Blend works perfectly for these dishes.

My favorite use of this sea salt seasoning is to add it to guacamole.  While sampling out my guacamole, during food demos, I've had people suggest that I make and sell the guacamole along with the salt blends.  I tell them you just need the Southwest Blend and a few other ingredients to make it yourself. My brother-in-law loves putting this seasoning on tilapia, omelletes and eggs. Other suggestions include: chili, fajitas, cheese-scalloped potatoes and Spanish rice.
